A first generation Afro-Latino from Honduras and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Luis is an advocate for Black Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Empowerment for people of color in San Diego.The host of the Discussion Workshop Series "The Psychology of the Black Entrepreneur" A Former Pro Basketball Player and U.S. Navy Veteran, currently he is developing a startup called MelaninMentor LLC. where teenage kids and young adults of color from all walks of life can have access to leaders and mentors who look like them and can relate to the same trials and tribulations coming from lower socioeconomic communities through e-learning and social networking.  He is active in creating a movement on building an entrepreneurial infrastructure for people of color locally in San Diego and across Southern California. He also is a Organizational Training Consultant for training Early Stage Black-Owned Businesses on Pitchdeck Fundamentals.
