Joe has recently turned his focus to the Renewable Home Energy space as the Lead Executive responsible for Strategy and Innovation at Baker Electric Home Energy, a nationally-recognized premium integrator of home energy solutions and a member of Cleantech San Diego. One of his responsibilities in this role is the evaluation of novel innovation-driven business opportunities. Spearheading a dedicated Innovation Group has enabled the company to accelerate the vetting of new technologies. The group then proceeds to incubate the most promising, ultimately launching them into the company's mainstream operations. Eighteen months ago it was Home Energy Storage, today it is novel Smart Home technologies and business models.
