Limited Capacity seats available

Finding capital to launch a business can be a challenge and entrepreneurs can easily get discouraged. This session will present the landscape of options available to fund new startups, how and when to seek funding, and what kind is best for you. Learn all the tips you want to know from the experts who will address:
  • Bootstrapping:  Starting a new business on a limited budget without investor involvement including pre-orders from customers, negotiating terms with suppliers/distributors and family and friends. Special focus on crowdfunding.
  • Equity Investing:  Bringing in investors in exchange of equity (ownership percentage in the business). Focus on investors’ expectations and how to determine if you ready to pitch to investors.
  • Debt Financing:  Borrowing funds at a cost (interest plus fees). Focus on how debt lenders work and how to determine if you are prepared to take on debt financing.
This is a workshop that will help you get started on the documentation and other material needed to organize and justify a funding request for early stage startups.
