In April, a Philadelphia Starbucks manager reported two black men to the police. The police escorted the men out of the store and arrested them, yet they had done nothing wrong...they were simply waiting for a third person to join their business meeting. As a result, Starbucks will close all of its doors on May 29 to lead unconscious bias trainings for employees around the world.

Could something like this happen at your workplace?

Unconscious or implicit biases can negatively affect nearly every aspect of your business, including the hiring process, workplace engagement, product development, and customer service. In this experiential workshop, you will learn how unconscious bias develops. You'll also receive tools to help you discover your own implicit biases and techniques to combat them.
